Rental Terms
All vehicle rentals are governed by a comprehensive Rental Agreement, which you will receive upon booking confirmation or at the time of vehicle collection. In case of any discrepancies between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will prevail.

Renting a vehicle requires:

A valid full driving licence is required, which must be held for the duration specified in the Rental Agreement. Booking and Payment Terms
- Reservations can be arranged via our website, by telephone, or directly at our Newcastle location. A deposit may be necessary to confirm your booking. The total payment along with a security deposit is usually required at the time of vehicle pickup. All fees are listed in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable. We accept major credit and debit cards, with secure processing through trusted payment systems.
4. Vehicle Pickup and Drop-off
- At the time of vehicle collection in Newcastle, Northern Ireland, it is your responsibility to inspect the vehicle thoroughly and report any pre-existing damage without delay. A vehicle condition report will be created and must be signed by both parties. Upon return, the vehicle should be in the same condition as when it was collected, allowing for standard wear and tear. Any damage resulting from negligence or misuse remains your responsibility, irrespective of insurance.
6. Cancellations and Modifications
Cancellation and amendment policies differ based on the type of booking and the notice provided. For precise information, please consult your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement. Late cancellations or failure to show up may incur additional charges.
7. Restricted Activities
Prohibited Uses of Rental Vehicle
- The vehicle must not be used for any unlawful activities. This includes racing, rallying, off-roading, or engaging in any risky behaviors. Transporting hazardous materials is prohibited. Sub-letting the vehicle or permitting unauthorized drivers is not allowed. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly forbidden. The vehicle should only be used for its intended purposes, adhering to passenger and weight limits. Operating outside of the agreed geographical area requires prior authorization.
Breach of these terms may lead to rental termination and extra fees.
Liability Limitations
To the fullest extent permitted by Northern Irish law, Car Hire will not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, resulting from your use of our services. Our maximum liability for any claim will not exceed the total amount paid for the rental in the previous 12 months. This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraudulent activities.
Governing Law in Newcastle
These Terms are governed by Northern Irish law. Any disputes will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of Northern Irish courts.
